About two years ago my long-standing billing arrangement with a local hospital ended for a variety of reasons. As I wished to continue my practice in geriatric medicine, I needed to find a new billing service. Inquiries led me to CPM. I have been working with CPM for two years. Julie Sylvestre and the staff at CPM were very helpful to me in setting up my solo practice two years ago after 18 years with a large group. Especially helpful was a resource book of preferred vendors CPM provided which was essentially a step-by-step guide on what was needed to set up an office and who to call for IT, phone systems, etc.
I continue to use CPM for billing, my electronic health record, and recommendations for practice management, including human resources consultation. We are a single provider practice working with CPM since 2010. CPM went from a medical billing service to a complete practice management company. CPM provides medical billing for us to all of our insurance carriers including billing direct pay patients and sending out monthly statements.
CPM provided training on turning over to electronic health records, which they implemented for our practice with great success.
